Vulcan Catering Equipment’s bakery division has launched the Milano Forni range of bakery equipment to the African market. Originally designed in Italy, the Milano range has been updated and improved to be more robust to better handle local conditions, making it a true South African product. The Milano range of ovens are exclusively manufactured for Vulcan by Seres Manufactures in Boksburg South Africa, who have 27 years of baking equipment history.

The Milano rotary ovens have a stylish and unique design, made in stainless steel with a clean and modern appearance to suit any shop front image. In addition to this, the cost-effective benefit of being able to be split into 3 parts and transported through a door way, reassembled and operational in less than 6 hours helps reduce installation time and costs. Other additional benefits that are standard on the Milano Rotary ovens include a Digital 16 programme control panel that controls temperature, steam time, baking time, turntable, and the automatic damper, which minimises human errors and achieves a more accurate and consistent result.

The oven door with double glass can open 180° to allow easy and safe entry and exit of bakery trolleys in limited spaces. To avoid any accidental damage to the door seal, it is mounted on the door and is plug-in for easy access and replacement with no tools required. The contactless door switch helps align the oven rack into position for loading and unloading. The unique air flow system allows the oven to heat up and achieve optimal baking temperature in minimal time, whilst ensuring that the air flow will achieve consistent baking results across the entire trolley. The required volume of steam is set on the control panel to allow the baker to get optimal results.

The Milano Forni range of rotary ovens consists of a 10 Pan, 80 Loaf, 120 Loaf, 240 Loaf in electric and the 120 and 240 are also available in Fuel versions. An optional feature is the Insul-Saver which helps reduce heat loss, in turn reducing energy costs.
